On February 25th twelve students and four faculty members embarked on a journey to Wichita for the 4th Kansas Hunger Dialog. The Kansas Hunger Dialog is a conference where college students and staff can discuss ideas to help eradicate hunger. The conference is filled with speakers and workshops all focusing on ending hunger on a global spectrum. It was an incredible experience to see all the students from different campuses coming together to discuss a topic they felt passionate about. No matter the size of the college or the amount of funding that was provided to a group they tried new ideas and gave lectures on the effect their project had on their campus and also on them. Fort Hays State provided several student speakers that gave lectures over different projects they have done over the school year. All together it was an enlightening experience that gave many students ideas for the next semester.
